Eri Nohira is a pianist from Sapporo, Japan and delights audiences with solo, duo and chamber music concerts. Her musical career has taken her from Sapporo to Tokyo, Freiburg, Hanover, and Düsseldorf. She now regularly gives concerts in Germany and Japan. Now based in Düsseldorf, she continues to develop her career through her concert activities.

The Sapporo City Hall Lobby Concert has been a beloved tradition since 1980, offering a relaxed musical interlude during the lunch break for anyone to enjoy free of charge. I am grateful to have been recommended for this series and look forward to performing Liszt's 'Liebestraum No. 3' and Debussy's 'Pour le piano'.

Returning to my hometown of Sapporo after my 2023 recital, I am grateful to perform at the Jun-ichi Watanabe Literature Museum. The program brings together six composers from Bach to Bartók, including Liszt's Liebesträume and Chopin's dramatic Scherzo. I hope the audience will enjoy discovering the connections between these composers. Doors: 2:30 PM / Concert: 3:00 PM
